Are the banknotes offered authentic?
Yes. All offered banknotes are genuine and original unless explicitly stated otherwise. We also offer a small number of private issues such as Antarctica and Galapagos, which are always clearly labeled as such.
I am looking for a banknote that is not listed in the shop. Can you help?
On our website, we only offer banknotes that are currently in stock. If the banknote you are looking for is a new issue, we usually provide it within a few days.
Can I get a discount?
No. We offer uniformly fair pricing to all customers and therefore do not provide discounts.
My UNC banknote has a small round crease near the security thread. Is this a defect?
No. Many modern banknotes feature a metallic security thread. The small round crease is a so-called cutting mark that occurs during the production process and is not considered a defect.
My banknote has a special serial number. Does this increase its value?
No. Serial numbers do not affect the value of a banknote.
Do you also buy banknotes?

Which countries do you ship to?
We offer worldwide shipping with the exception of Russia.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are automatically calculated during checkout. They depend on the order value and shipment weight, the destination country, and the selected shipping method. Detailed information about our shipping costs can be found on our Shipping & Returns page
How fast is my order shipped?
Your order is shipped on the next business day after payment has been received. Delivery usually takes 2-5 business days.
Are the banknotes securely packaged?
Yes, of course. All banknotes are carefully and kink-proof packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
How are customs duties and import taxes handled?
Any customs duties and import taxes that may apply have to be paid by the buyer.
My order has not arrived yet. What should I do?
Unfortunately, we have no control over the shipping process. In most cases, shipments are delayed and arrive a few days later. Should the tracking status not change over multiple days, please contact us, and we will find a solution for you.
Who is liable in case of a loss during shipment?
If a shipment is confirmed as lost, we will resend the order as quickly as possible. If certain items are no longer available, we will refund the corresponding amount.
I already finished my order but forgot to add a few banknotes. What can I do?
Due to the technical complexity of our shop-system your order cannot be altered once it is placed. You can place another order after the first one has been shipped.
I have a complaint. Who should I contact?
Although every order is checked multiple times, errors may occur in rare cases. Please contact us via email at info@banknoten.de and we will resolve the issue promptly and in your best interest.
